Awards
for Equilibre Horse Theatre
The Arts and Business Cymru Awards are an opportunity to publicly
recognise and celebrate outstanding achievement. This organisation
is at the forefront of promoting and enabling mutually beneficial
partnerships between The Arts and Business in Wales.
Equilibre Horse Theatre was very proud to be recognised as the winner
of the Small Business Partnership for their relationship
with Horsecomfort Stable Matting.
Raising the profile of an innovative form of stable bedding through
the arts could only have been achieved through a partnership with
Equilibre, a unique exponent of Horse Theatre. Equilibre's concept
of combining classical riding with original and physical and visual
art attracts the perfect audience for Horsecomfort, especially at
a time when Foot and Mouth Disease caused many rural events to be
cancelled. The judges were impressed by the creative way that the
organisation worked together to achieve common objectives.
Equilibre was also recognised by the Wales Tourist Board as a finalist
at their recent awards ceremony in the category for The
Greatest Show in Wales - Event of the Year, only narrowly
beaten by the Bryn Terfel Opera Festival. This award was for efficiency
of marketing, potential for growth and evidence of commitment and
imagination in service.
